Not looking forward that much to
The Black Crowes - Southern Harmony & Musical Companion, CD as it came round in the pile, but I had to do my duty and play it on the main system They always *almost* make it but always leave me disappointed
Today was different. Never heard them sound so good, after my recent upgrades the detail is great. Not only that you can hear the band doing a very good job, the soul, the feeling and the musicianship really stand out and the studio work was also top notch
Also playing Kissing the Pink - What noise ? - another surprise. An 'unusual' LP with some strange things going on Now revealed to be even better made than I thought before. The detail comes out and touches you. Master class in production and engineering

My experience is very similar, as my hi fi has improved a lot of recordings I had written off as poor are now far more listenable and enjoyable.

Yes always good if it increases the amount of music you listen to

My goal is trying not to listen to the hi-fi and enjoying the music...its took me ages, but Im getting there. System synergy with your room and music is the holy grail.

Music all the way. I'd like the kit to be invisible
