...and why?
In mine, it's my Chord SPM-1200E power amp, now some 13+ years old (with one service back at Chord). It has always raised its sound quality with other system improvements and I have not yet heard another amp in my system that makes me want to change it.

My Pioneer PD-S703, which I bought new after reading the What HiFi review. That must have been in about 1994, meaning it's 20 years old now.

My Zeta tonearm. I bought it secondhand in June 1990, it went onto an AR Legend and transformed it from a good mid-priced deck into one that gave one or two smug LP12 owners a bit of a shock! An excellent device. So good that now I've got two.

My Lampizator p17 open baffle speakers. Soon to be upgraded though with different drivers and xover, the best speakers I've owned.

Quad 57s - 35 years+. Why would I want to change them when they suit my kind of music so perfectly. Nothing comes close.

My kit speakers. I built them in 1998 and haven't heard anything I prefer to replace them.

My Open baffles speakers They have been heavily upgraded over the years and few speakers can match them in scale and speed now. Totally non fatigue with micro detail and not a ounce of flab in the bass

Jaycar JV-60 kit from the '90s. An MTM design using Vifa drivers. I built my own enclosures. At some point I want to build a better pair of crossovers and replace the metal dome tweeters with a set of Morel soft domed versions. The designer suggested this mod as an improvement.

Morel soft dome tweeters are good, as used in the IPL S5TL transmission lines that I built some 20 years ago.

My 'oldest' component is the Consonance CD-120 L back in 2008. I listen to cd so rarely nowadays that have never seriously felt the need to change it ...

If you'd asked me last year, I'd have said pretty much the whole system (Linn Karik/Numerik/Kairn) but after about 20 years old age took hold of it and eventually I replaced almost everything.
So now it's the KEF speakers at 10 years old.

hmm, That I use regularly in my day to day listening - the amps and speakers (the longest surviving drivers being the JBL2482's - 5years in my ownership). The oldest bit of my vinyl front end (that I use irregularly), is the SPU Royal N cartridge - 7 yrs in my ownership, closely followed by the SP-10 - 6 years of so. Older still but now relegated to very occasional use in my headphone system is a DPA Enlightment DAC - this 1990's bit of tech is still a very good max 48KHz DAC and will give a lot of more expensive gear a drubbing. The oldest bits of kit I have are the Vitavox S2 compression drivers - these are early 50's, originally intended for cinemas. The diaphragms are the latest Vitavox offering and they have been refurbed by Vitavox, so perfom like new. Here is a period depiction of their offerings - I wish I had the S2's boxes! The driver in box on the right.

Isobariks and their Exposure cables, around 1990
Like Martin's Chord they have let every upgrade through and still perform wonderfully well

Actually I was wrong. The longest standing component in my system is my TQ black speaker cable. Must be nearly five years now. Soon to be sold on though as I'll be making my own soon ;-)
