I had to phone my surgery today, and after the obligatory 30-min wait I got through and asked why the 10-day delay in authorising my meds. With apologies their end, she promised to get them approved pronto. It never seems to be Pharmacy2U who are the hold-up for me, it's the doctors at the surgery.

YAY, I've got my drugs, precisely 7 days after my old pharmacy would have delivered them to me.

Just to top off the whole affair I've had to launch a rocket up the arse of Royal Mail though.

I've set up, on their app, a request to wait a bit longer for me to answer the door as, depending upon where I am, it can take a few moments longer than it would some young fit bloke.  It's a service they offer, you just have to tick a box on said app. 
There is a large notice on my front door itself asking anyone making a delivery to ring my doorbell and to please wait a bit longer for me to answer.

Doorbell rings.
I get to the door after hurtling downstairs.
Postie is on the way out of the building.
Found drugs dumped on my doormat.

The parcel was left, according to Royal Mail, in my "safe place" with a photo as proof, despite me deliberately NOT allocating a safe space, either in my online account or via their app.



Their tracking is fkn abysmal too, as the parcel was shown as "in the depot" having been "allocated to a van" but not out for delivery yet. I know this because I was periodically checking so I could be somewhere nearer the door when they called. 

I marked their service and my likelihood of recommending their service Nul Points, and filled in their questionnaire.

I must admit, I'm beginning to wonder.  

My new guitar is, apparently, sitting in ParceFarce's delivery depot, having been "assigned to its delivery route". So I'm expecting that at any moment, or maybe never, who knows?
