Nice!
Very very good value cables. 😂
I remembered the last round when I change my interconnect plugs from silver to red copper i have the same kind of change as from the cat 8 to cat 7. I suspect my speakers doesnt like anything fast. Be it faster signal or faster speed. 🤣

I just realized that the cat 7 seems to have 2 different variations. These from the ugreen shop s.lazada.sg/s.1oah7s.lazada.sg/s.1oa7LIt seems that the main difference is the wire gauge size. Cat 7 slim is 32 awg Cat 8 is 30awg Cat 7 is 28 awg. Gaming cat 8 is 26awg. The one that I bought to replace the cat 8 above with 30awg is the cat 7 with 28awg. Could this be the difference? Seems like i need to try gaming given the thicker cable and better shielding... 😅

Thought it was two, if you study the links l put in the replies, it takes you to the suggested models, that should help with any confusion.

I bought these UGreen Cat7 cables back in April. They are certainly better than the Cat8 I was using at the time. For me, having the short 0.3m cables is also good.

The cat 8 gaming cable is here. So i did a comparison with my cat 7 cable changing out the cable from the N18 pro to the R26. Both cables sounded quite similar. The cat 8 gaming sounded slightly more open and more detail.however it sounded a little lightweight in the bass and the midrange sounded slightly thinner than the cat 7. Was almost about the declare that I preferred the cat 7. Then i thought i should also try the shield sleeves on the cat 8 gaming too. Initially I thought with the graphene shielding already in the cable. It shouldnt need extra shielding. But i was wrong. With the shielding sleeve, the bass weight and the midrange is now on par with the cat 7. With gains on openess and details. Cat 8 gaming is better for me.

Great news... The Ugreen cables are great VFM, but do have a similar sound, funny l sheilded my CAT 8 cable before it enters my FMC, this is my server cable, and have left it ever since. The gaming cable will improve further once its burnt in,but it's all good cheap fun. Glad your enjoying it.

I shall give one a try between my router and EtherREGEN.
EDIT: maybe not, only 1.5 and 3m lengths available. May try their standard Cat8

Can someone help explain the logic behind these Ugreen cables and why people here seem to like them so much? (its always good with cheap stuff that is good of course!)
I previously bought a couple of Audioquest and Wireworld ethernet cables and when i went up in price they also seemed to shield even better. It was a rather big jump in performance when i went up to the AQ Vodka, for example.
Is it just because i have a lot of radiation in my home (i live in the city) that i "needed" rather expensive ethernet cables to protect my signal, or what do you think? Or is there something really great that i don´t understand about these cheap Ugreen cables?

Without crashing the thread and changing its subject, its down to its design, price and more importantly how they sound, l believe there's a big thread about it,quite a,few TAS members have tried and tested.

It's not logic, I fell upon the uGreen Cat7 when trying different cables and found it sounds outstanding, easily surpassing more expensive MeiCord and Supra cables. So all my ethernet cables are uGreen now.
