Discovering Mr. Landau Please join me if you don't already know him Very nice guitar work. Spans different areas including sounding much like Hendrix at times as well as the blues as well as experimental sounds Live 2006 seems a great introduction to him and his band open.qobuz.com/album/ngk9dnhs3fv2aFirst play through was enough to have me interested Second tells me he could become a favourite Think I discovered him from Paul Jones when he did his blues show on't Radio

If somebody has never heard any Michael Landau and had to choose one random track to hear first. Which track on would they choose? Asking for an acquaintance.

One track would not cover the areas he does Will come up with something That live album at the top is a good place to start

He gets around, playing in other bands...
Renegade Creation - with Gary Novak, Jimmy Haslip, Robben Ford Similar to solo work, good. Only Bullet on Qobuz
Maxus Not for me. Horrid vocals
Yet to try Burning Water, Hazey Jane, Karizma, Steve Gadd Band, Stolen Fish, The Jazz Ministry, The Raging Honkies
