Unlike some on here I have never really spent lots on cables once the cost gets too far I've £100 I have issues both with not having the money spare to pay out and if the difference they will make is worth the cost . Now I do hear differences in some cables but not for me at least huge differences and often not worth the cost . I have read a number of comments and reports about the Duelund cables but the cost for 5 metre pair plus plugs was too much . However many of those making positive comments are people I know and trust so when a user ready plug in pair came up I decided I would take a chance . Although in the pantheon of cables this is not that costly it is still the most I have ever spent on any speaker cables . Arrived this morning and fitted over an hour ago . To my great surprise they sound very good straight from the off . I would expect from previous cable inserts that this will improve over the next few days which if that happens will make this a very good buy. Will make more comments next week but so far this has been a chance worth taking .

Good to hear when an upgrade works out. Let us know how you get on after more listening.

Okay been a few days now and the cable has been running at low volume for about 36 hours . Listening today and these are my type of cable they are unfussy natural and I would guess for many boring . They very clearly do not spotlight any part of the music instead they seem to just get out of The way and let the music shine . They remind me of my favourite cable in the past DNM solid core many commented they had no bass but I found this to be that all the bass and detail was there it was just presented in my view correctly as part of the whole sound . I really like this cable and they will be staying . I think these are now the best they are going to be and that is good enough for me . They are worth getting a listen to it you can but I am sure they will not be to everyone's taste .

Well the thing with used items is you are never too sure what they have been used with and for how long . So as I mentioned straight from plug in these cables sounded very good . I had noticed a slight improvement after playing for say three or four hours . I then put them on low volume play with Cascade for about 12/18 hours and when I cam back to them they had opened out a little more and sounded excellent . I used them most of that day and they remained as they were so I presumed that this was it . Well another night of low power Cascade treatment seems to have given them a little bit more . I will be doing another full day on Saturday in to Sunday morning and see if this then stays the same . So yes used items can be run in but in this case not run in enough . Still very happy though and not planning to remove these any time soon .
