Happy New Years Eve guys. I'll try to keep my report short here as I promised photos of the snowboarding trip but didnt get any.
It rained for days on end in all of New England so ended up at my 3rd choice called Jiminy Peak. Made it halfway to 2nd choice and turned around because rain was not letting up. Ended up in far western MA which I'd never been to.
Such a great time. Went night time snowboarding. Snow was very very choppy. Places used to regroom trails after 4pm before night skiing would begin. This place didnt. So a full day of skiiers snowboarders cutting up the snow is what we all rode on. Chopped snow is fun once you've built up your skill level but I hadnt gone in a year or so.
Don't matter none. Your boy was hauling gluteus assimus down trails by the first run. It's actually the first time in last 3 excursions where the snow was fun to ride on. What an absolute thrill and eye opener that was. If I can get to another place this coming Friday I will. If not I'll go again soon enough. Sorry no photos I arrived late and it was night time and had to just get moving.
Either way happy New Years guys. Anybody doing anything cool? I may just stay in and read or watch shows. Will definitely go for a drive at least.

Happy New Year, all. Twenty eight minutes in and the fireworks are still continuous, and will be for a few more hours I suspect. They started at about 6 PM and now you can almost not see across there street for the smoke.
