Why shouldn't someone offer an interpretation full of emotions in line with expressiveness of a modern instrument, despite all known conventions of historically authentic performance?! We can be aware of harpsichord sound and dynamics, but some pieces, as this recording shows us, allow much more sophisticated agogics in performing and ms Kudritskaya offers us her vision today of French keyboard music of 18th century.
