Am I the only one here with a beard? If not, does anyone else use specialised beard products, such as shampoos, oils, balms, etc?

I've a goatee if that counts? Had some sort of beard since I was 18, when I was given official written permission to grow one by the Master at Arms No grooming poducts though.

Had a full beard for years. Made me look corporate older helped advance up the company ladder, and fit in with the Swedes - beards and Birkenstocks were all the rage🙂
Then since about 2000, no beard.
I'm currently growing some fairly subtle sideburns for a Georgian themed / dressed party we're going to. I'm aiming for the Colin Firth broody Mr Darcy look 😂
Never used specialist products.

The only time I grew a beard was when I went to Namibia and forgot my shaver. I thought to hell with it, I'll let it grow.
Hated it and got rid of it on my return.

I grew a beard when I was 25, much to SWMBOs annoyance, she hated it. I would call it a Strawberry Blond colour. I found it quite annoying and in the end it after 3 months shaved it off, been clean shaven ever since.

I've had a moustache since my teens and a beard for the last 8 years or so. I don't use 'products' often although I have tried some beard shampoo: smelled nice! I do you a beard oil on occasion, but not every day. I quite like the L'Oréal BarberClub oil and the beard oil that Haekels made for a while, mind it is so strong that you need to cut it with unscented oil. Luckily, unlike most that go rancid after 6 months or so, it seems to keep forever!

One reason I was asking is because I bought some ZOUSZ Beard Oil (30ml) in a Black Friday deal on Amazon, and liked it so much I went back for a 50ml beard oil, some balm, and their Moisturiser, billed as "Daily Hydration Face Cream". I was wondering if anyone else had tried it, or even heard of it.

This year, for reasons that remain unclear to me, I let my beard grow out. Made me unrecognizable to my friends and look many years older. Itched like hell despite a variety of oils and conditioners that were liberally applied daily.
After a couple of months passed, I shaved it off... one of, if not the happiest day of my life. Glad I got to check that one off my bucket list. Never going back again...

I shall be 70 in January, so I'm not overly concerned about my beard making me look " older".

I had a beard for a few months in my 20s but made me look a bit like Russell Brand so never tried it again. Thankfully no pictures.
