Hi

I am running the Zero Zero power supply with the standard DC cable that came with it and are looking to upgrade it.

What advice does anyone have on options and recommendations?

Have have found these two,

The are reviews of the second, not the first. However, I assume there must be more on the market?

I have used the MCRU DC cable to good effect and it is better than the freebie that comes with the Zero Zone.

In order of performance: freebie, MCRU DC, Coherent DC. They will need the GX16-2 connector at the ZZ end.

TP-Link MR-600 router > Uptone EtherREGEN reclocker > Sonore Signature Rendu Deluxe streamer > Coherent modded Gustard U18 DDC > Gustard X26 Pro DAC > Belles SA-100 Gen 2 power amp > Usher Dancer Be-20 speakers. 2 x AfterDark master clocks. PS Audio P3 & P12 regenerators. 3 x Uptone JS-2 LPSUs.

My favourite are the Plixir and Ghent Audio.

It has the wrong plug for the Zero Zero, does it not?

+1 for the Ghent cables... replaced all my DC cables with Ghent and am very happy with their quality and performance.

If you are handy with a soldering iron, making up your own gives you more options but Ghent Audio cables are indeed well-made and represent great value for money. I now make up my own from Neotech UP-OCC/Teflon insulation (from HiFi Collective) and use carbon-infused braid. The drawback of the Neotech is it only comes in red so you have to apply sellotape or similar to temporarily mark up the "black" wire. Quite a bit of faff to be honest!
