A hard hitting recording of the last moments of a motorcyclist's life taken with a headcam. The family have taken the very brave decision to release this in the hope it may make other riders and car drivers more bike aware. Apparently the rider was travelling at 97 MPH at the time and the car driver said they never saw him coming when they turned. Very, very sad.

Love speed and acceleration. A motorbike gives that in spades and is just great.
It may be that I have ridden and driven fast in the past
120mph was no big deal on the right German Autobahn
Getting older I'm getting wiser.
Brave decision indeed and all power to them for doing it

I can be accused of driving fast sometimes, but 97mph on that single carriageway road is beyond any reasonable speed, especially around junctions. He didn't appear to slow down at all. I feel sorry for the family, the car driver and even the biker in a moment of madness. No winners at all.

Skilled racers die on the Isle of Man on *closed* roads.
A normal punter could not comprehend anyone coming the other way at that speed.
I was cycling home at a colossal 15mph or thereabouts when a guy turned in front of me, exactly same way. Lit up like Blackpool in season and he didn't see me
