No, it's not some twisted search for a pound-shop philosopher's' stone, but what I thought was a fairly simple requirement. The speaker cable I have in situ has spade terminals on the non-speaker end, and a piece of kit I want to test out will not accept spade terminals, only banana-type plugs. I've been through eBay, and Amazon, and the ONLY suitable piece of kit I could find to buy without incurring import fees is this - www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09N9KP6SR - and they're only available via an American vendor. Was I kidding myself in thinking it should have been a simple purchase?

I've been through AliExpress and there's nothing direct. Would the locking mech in this be able to cope with a spade? a.aliexpress.com/_mM4Kh4q

I tried some of these I had knocking around, andt they didn't work. Silly isn't it, with the amount of adaptors for virtually everything what seems like a no-brainer is so hard to come by. I ordered the American version on Thursday and they've just left the Amazon "facility" in NY. They will be winging their way to me via the USPS and then Royal Mail.

Are you able to reverse the cables to use the spades at the speaker end?

Are you able to reverse the cables to use the spades at the speaker end? Not without shifting furniture and using a stepladder. The speakers are wall-mounted, and it's a job I only want to do once, which is when I finally change the cables. I've been a bit wobbly lately, and don't fancy the stepladder component at the moment.
