I was working in a big house today and they had a pair of these Linn’s. It’s the first time I’ve seen really expensive Hifi while at work. The house is under full renovation, so I’m hoping I’ll be there when it’s finished to see if I can get a listen. hifiplus.com/articles/linn-products-klimax-system/

Be careful Matt!
Listening to Linn speakers may irreversibly damage your hearing . A full audiophile exorcism may well be the only thing that saves you ...

I like his description of the sound. “They sound shit”. 😂

Absolutely priceless - I couldn't stop laughing. Apparently Linn forgot to put in a midrange with these speakers ...

Linn Anti-Klimax😂
They even put A in the name!
I remember going to a TT bake off once. Playback was through Linn Kans (Gallows emoji)🙂. Same test track was played over and over again! Oh my ears! Couldn't tell any turnable apart really.

YT Comments I’ve heard this model at the LINN factory in their dedicated listening room and I agree they are utter shit.
Fully agree with the comments you made, all artificial sounding treble, comical lack of bass and just hideously over priced. To anyone in the comments saying this guy is wrong or he hasn’t set them up right, I heard these set up by LINN themselves in their HQ in Glasgow.
I wouldn’t pay £1000 for them let alone £75k

Having said that Linn Sara 9's are a very good speaker with really impressive bass from a relatively small enclosure . Also being sealed they have my favourite plus point that they are best hard up to a wall so are not in the way and make getting a sensible listening position easier . The one I have are minus the passive crossovers which were removed for me by AnnaPeach as with my lack of mechanical dexterity I just knew the drivers were never going to be removed without damage. As two way active with crossover at 3000kHz for the KEF 200 drivers they really do come alive but still retain the fun factor of the originals . They will be on the end of my system at the Wam Show in October room 240 so anyone who wants a listen and then call me deaf is most welcome , if you like the system that is also cool as well . Either bring some usb sticks with music on you would like to hear or drop me a message and will either confirm I have the tracks or try and get them before the show .
