Guess who was 'helping' to sort out the recycling this morning?

Yoghurt is good for dogs. I once gave a presentation on the subject to an audience of over 100 at a national conference Honestly!

Good to know. Is it good for their coats if you rub it in, like Merlot did this morning? Little bugger won't eat it if you put it in his dinner bowl, but he'll lick the pot for twenty minutes (it was a big pot as you can see)

Aaw, Merlot is sooo cute. Looks like yoghurt wouldn't melt in his mouth

That's really really unusual if he won't eat it. I used to use it to tempt dogs to eat dried food. A live yoghurt has probiotics which aid the digestion - same for humans, sheep, cows... So live yoghurt is useful for clearing up a dose of the runs, essential for a week after a course of antibiotics. Also its probably the only way a dog should have anything dairy. Most dogs are lactose intolerant. The bacteria in yoghurt ferment the lactose in milk into glucose. I could bore for Britain on this subject...

You know the difference between America and yoghurt?
There's culture in a yoghurt.
