The 'guitar only' tracks are stunning. Simply due to his craft. Flicked through the piano tracks.
One of the best things with our system adjustments over the years, is how 'good music' sounds even better no matter the artist (although I've got one for you that doesn't sound good anywhere).
Unfortunately though, Nils won't be breaking into my playlist.

I know the album, having played it just a couple of times previously. I really want to like Nils Lofgren's solo work, as he's been involved in some music that I truly love (notably, the original Crazy Horse stuff, both with and without Neil Young). I'm kind of in agreement with Tim and John - nice recording, but a little lacking in involvement. My score was a little more generous though, I think - 3/5.

I'm only in for a couple of tracks. Keith don't go, which Keith didn't like very much 🙂 and Man in the moon - sums up the American child gun violence thing rather poignantly.
The dynamics and recording etc are stunning in flac served up or hi-res streamed, so the Keith track has been one of my system demo favourites for years.
The guitar leaps out at you.
