This is another one of those tunes that everyone knows but perhaps doesn't know who composed it. Pachelbel was German and composed it in the time range 1680 - 1706, no-one knows for sure. Pachelbel was known primarily as an organ and keyboard composer. It has been used in countless films, dramas and adverts. Just like Vivaldi's music, when you stop taking it in as background music and really listen, the inventiveness is infectious. I have chosen this version by the Vivaldi String Orchestra because it uses the organ rather than harpsichord. Just a personal preference. open.qobuz.com/track/93272190
