I have one of these Radford Bass Drivers and with sitting unused , the speaker roll surround has lost some of its roll shape. Has anyone considered making an accurate mold of the roll and using that to gently encourage the distorted section back into its true shape?

I've never considered making a mould but I have repaired two sets of speakers (JBL L-100T and Gale GS-401C) by finding matching roll surrounds on eBay. There are all sorts of sizes available, see if you can find a close enough set.

I wonder how long it has been unused for? Also, unless the coil is being scraped due to misalignment, does it actually matter?
Why not just take it out and rotate it 180 degrees? Presumably gravity has been the cause of this, so applying negative gravity seems a good place to start.
