Zadok the Priest was written as an anthem to celebrate the coronation of King George II in 1727. I believe it has been used for every British coronation since. Truly splendid pomp from the German-British composer, a delightful feast for the ears.

This recording made in Westminster Abbey by The English Concert seems as fitting as any and sounds excellent.

Considering the range of all music the ratio of good for me to bad is probably about the same for classical.
