I did ask in your intro, but here is appropriate. I haven't come across that model of MBL before. How did you come to own them? A very different type of speaker driver, for sure.

I have gone through my share of speakers in the last 30 years.
The last pair I owned before these were the monstrous Evolution Acoustics MM3 at 600lbs. each.
In my retirement I wanted a state of the art speaker that was a little more manageable to move.
The reviews I read about the MBL's were always glowing, so I took the plunge.
The imaging of these speakers is incredible and even spooky at times.
Sweet spot is quite large, too!

I like folk/acoustic/early rock. Also soft contemporary/rock music like Diana Krall, Sarah McLaughlin, Patty Griffin, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, etc. I really love streaming via Qobuz and hearing music I never heard before - quite a music adventure!

These are the recommended crossover settings for high power solid state amps, from several other owners. I really haven't experimented much with the other settings, since I am thoroughly satisfied with these settings. Thanks!

Thought I would post an updated view of my System, after the addition of the Taiko Extreme music server + Ediscreation Firebird LPS powering both the Silent Switch OCXO Extreme + Fiber Box. Also several Stealth Audio Dream power cords for the amps, power conditioner, D/A Converter, and Taiko Extreme.
Plus, Sony A95L 77" Q-OLED tv also new!
