That is absotively posilutely redickerlus. I'm going to assume that the subs have 3 different crossover frequencies, but SIX! Have you got a link please, Martin? I don't recognise those RELs, and I'd love to know a bit more about the whole setup.

I have not heard the top of the range RELs but I have heard a big REL and thought shifted plenty of air but not really had the speed I am used too

Thanks for the link, Martin. Those REL 32s make interesting reading. rel.net/shop/powered-subwoofers/reference-series/no-32/Only £10K a pop? I think I'll have six.  REL explain how to set up a "six-pack," line array, using their cheapo (£2.299.00 each) S/510 boxes. Apparently, you get " guys looking for delicacy, and all this crap early on [in the setup]" and that's wrong. I like this bloke. |

Every time I see these REL stacks or ultra high end systems with loads of subs, I wonder if/how they align the speakers and subs acoustically.
REL certainly got a good marketing department promoting the need for 6 subs.

I would love to leave my Ushers exactly where they are until I die, but unfortunately they will have to move in 2-3 years' time. All 160kg each. No, I don't yet have a plan as the packaging is long gone.
