There's always one of these posts on forums, so I thouight I'd kick it off.
I told everyone I wanted books, biographies in fact, for Christmas. Let's face it, I'm a bloke, living on my own, with all the clothes/gatgets/whatever, I need (until the next Amazon sale), so, rather than get the usual socks and chocolates and cries of "we didn't know what to get you" I sent out broad "hints". Actually, it was a cross one off and pass it on list
, and I've ended up with virtually everythiing on my list. Still, my Birthday's in January, maybe they saved some.
