I always write long articles into Word 365 then copy/paste them in when posting. I've lost a few long posts in the past, not any more.

I decided to shield my ethernet cable going from the lan media converter to the Zen Stream as I have quite a few cables in that area. More body and detail Did not really expect to hear any difference.

You might want to invest in a Supra Cat8 double-shielded ethernet cable, John. I only have a 1m length from router to EtherREGEN but it does sound better than what I was using before. www.mcru.co.uk/product/supra-cat-8-ethernet-cables/?v=79cba1185463

Recently I have further refined my digital system in pursuit of better sound quality by reducing noise. This time it was:
- Tubulus Concentus shielded silver BNC clock cables for both clocks - Mini-Circuits BLP-10.7+ BNC low pass filters for both clocks - Uptone JS-2 PSU for 2nd clock
All three are aimed at reducing noise in the digital path and have had significant impact on sound quality. There is a bigger soundstage, pronounced note decay, potent bass, clarity, shape and texture, very fine detail, and most significantly, a dramatic reduction in harshness.
If you have a digital setup that is lacking, you could do far worse than follow some of the ideas in this thread.
