Does anyone know of any independent vinyl shops on line please? Well there used to be this amazing place in Soho... Oh hang on a minute, you mean LPs don't you?! As physical shops that I have used in the last few years there is Music Matters in Farnham, Sunrise Records in Guildford and Pie and Vinyl in Southsea (the last one I went to). For online I use EIL.com most often (they stock S/H and new) and of course Mr Brook at MCrU stocks quite a selection. I also buy quite a few records directly from artists either via their websites or via their Bandcamp account and from small labels such as Posi-Tone and Nonesuch.

Vinyl = Digital Records = Analogue
Webster caused 45-year-olds across the country to collectively blow a gasket by adding “vinyls” as an official entry to their list of recognized words, multiple divorced men confirmed.
According to a recent poll, young people remain completely unaware of the pain this term is inflecting on the older generation.
“I love to go to Target and see what new vinyls they’ve got in,” said 17-year-old Hailey O’Connor. “So far I’ve got Taylor Swift vinyls. I’ve bought Drake vinyls. I’ve even found some more obscure stuff like Fleetwood Mac vinyls. I’ve been collecting six months, and I think I might actually be ready to buy a turntable. I saw this really cool one that looks like an old phonograph and it even has Bluetooth. I told my uncle about it and he was so excited that he passed out and hit his head really hard on the pavement.”

I'm adding "vinyls" to my list of "words" and phrases that I won't let go unnoticed if spoken to me, including "can I get..." and "should of".

So it seems that Hailey has amassed polyvinyls! I wonder what catalysed that?

A good an very helpful online shop www.whatrecords.co.uk/ for new Vinyl the owner is very helpful if you have an issue or looking for something, the offers section is well worth looking at regularly, prices are generally very competitive.
