Sod it, I'm gonna break cover and admit that I like the look of them. Now I know what my next speaker build will look like We'll never know what they sound like though. I reckon they will be out of this world.

They certainly look impressive, but wouldn’t be something I’d buy even if I had the money.
I do like the idea of bronze cabinets though. They say it took 1 tonne of bronze to make them!

Somebody gets the post. It doesn't matter that they're not something you'd buy, just that they're " interesting".

Would want to see proper measurement plots, that I took myself, for them to be even remotely interesting🙂 You could even dress up Martin😂 &

I think they are all fur coat, no knickers.
It's like they've gone to town on the design concept of the housing and then just slapped three drivers underneath.
However, if these are in fact superlative sounding speakers, I apologize. I'm all for gear looking sexxxy but needs to sound orgasmic too ...

They are certainly interesting in the way they are made at least. CNC machining always looks so impressive, but of course it is simply executing the design. I think the most skilled part though (aside from the design maybe) is the casting as getting that right with big chunks of bronze is a challenging task. They make a nice job of the polishing as well. I wonder if they are lacquered after to stop the bronze from oxidising.

I came across this on Farcebook, and it should attract some wide-ranging positive and negative comments. I've added some more pics I Googled, and a link to their website, which is is great for people who like to see other people doing things with big hunks of metal and lathes and stuff... Their website - cosmotronloudspeakers.com/ - is well worth a look. At the top right of the site ar three horizontal lines, which expand into the menu. The films are well made, and interesting, especiually from an engineering standpoint. Click on the dots on the speaker to select them for viewing. Each view (Front, Side, and Rear) has different videos to enjoy. If they've put as much work into their speakers as they have their website I'd love to hear them Maybe it's style-over-substance, I don't know, because I haven't heard them, but I do like the concept, and could definitely live with them in the right room ...if I were rich enough to have a house big enough to support a " novelty hi-fi" room. I think my wife might rather like those she quite likes that sort of thing, also TinTin was my favourite program as a child. Time for lift off, Snowy under my arm!

also TinTin was my favourite program as a child. I read every one of the TinTin books (and still have them) including French versions. I've also been to the Herge museum in Brussels. "Mille de mille sabords!"

"Mille de mille sabords!" I had several of the books but don't know what happened to them, I still have a model of TinTin on my desk with Snowy tucked under his arm, I also loved the Thom℗sons.
