Today's morning walk with the dogs in the fields
First time ever living here nearly 20 years
Toddling along the path coming towards us
A badger
Thought we probably had them around somewhere
Next time I hope to be able to get the phone out fast enough to take a pic
Hundred yards or so further on I spy a couple of deer in the adjacent field Will try taking pics of them too once I get better with the zoom

Not where we live but we had a wonderful walk in the rain in Stourhead yesterday. Not much wildlife in view except for a few squirrels.

I may have become blasé about what I see regularly.
The fields I walk are deliberately left wild so the wildlife can be at home
In no particular order Rabbits Deer, including newly born Squirrels Fox, quite rare Buzzards Red Kites Many birds including families. Sometimes 100s roosting Owls *Big* birds which may be Buzzards or Kites or other. Fleeting glimpses only

We get deer, monkjacks, foxes, partridges, pheasant, rabbits and hares on our lane quite regularly.

Lots of noise coming from a tree I walked under this afternoon Very brief glimpse of long tailed tits. Seen very few of them this year
Gone before I got anywhere near the phone to take a snap
