For those of you who use Roon as a music service there has been a major update to the 2.0 version.
I was an early adopter of Roon which I have seen improve and advance significantly over time.
The new update includes free access to the Roon Arc app that is a brand new mobile app for iOS and Android that connects to your Roon Core over the air, giving you access to all your files and streaming content no matter where you are. So, in short order, I'll have access to my nearly 4000 albums from my home server whilst tooling about in my car through Android Auto. A pretty staggering concept when you let it sink in.
I'll try to post updates on my continuing experience with this new and exciting functionality but for now, suffice it to say I'm extremely satisfied with my Roon experience.

Never got onto Roon, however Version 2.0 with the inclusion of streaming hi rez to any device is a game changer. I tend to use Plex for all my MP3 file duties, but l have to say, it makes Roon the obvious choice for the future.
