Taking artificial tests like that is nothing like listening in comfort to music you really love.
Rather like blind listening tests, there is stress related to thinking you have to hear a difference which means you can't trust the results.
It also has to be repeated: a really well-made recording with great mic positioning, and an engineer up to the job, made in Red Book standard will easily outperform a badly made hi-res recording.
