The woman who has visited Queen Elizabeth’s coffin seven times
Devout Christian Elizabeth Sabey says she plans to see casket as many times as she canA woman who has visited Queen Elizabeth’s casket in Edinburgh seven times says she was inspired by the late monarch's faith in God. Elizabeth Sabey, a 43-year-old evangelist and missionary, had visited the casket seven times and planned to go in as many times as she could before the coffin departed for London. She said she was supportive of the Royal family but was principally inspired by the late Queen’s strong Christian faith. Speaking before she embarked on her eighth visit, she described the atmosphere in St Giles’: " It's beautiful, it's not just like a gimmick, like ' Let me see how many times I can go in'. I've got a really strong faith and I just felt God's presence, like a unity among people, no divisions". MOREApparently, they're taking photos of people " with" the coffin, and then selling them at £12.00 a pop, ...to the people in the photos presumably, unless some really were shit is going on. They're hoping to sell " a million". Oddly, there's been no mention that I've seen of where that money is going. Maybe they should stream it live. They could call it " BBC Coffin Watch" and go oldschool with Bill Oddie and Kate Humble commenting on people's hats. What? It's not so far from what's actually been going on since HM the Q vacated the throne for the last time.

How sad - it seems Russia's top brass are most displeased about not being invited to the funeral. They can now watch it on TV like the rest of us. "We view this British attempt to use a national tragedy that has touched the hearts of millions of people around the world for geopolitical purposes to settle scores with our country during the days of mourning as profoundly immoral," Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said. "This is especially blasphemous to the memory of Elizabeth II, who is known to have served during World War II in the territorial defence ranks of the British Armed Forces fighting the Nazis," she added.

These lads, on the other hand, HAVE been invited if reports are true. Campaigners condemn Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman's ‘obscene’ plan to pay respects to the Queen. The tyrant has not visited Britain since the murder of Washington Post journalist and Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi in 2018STORYSaudi Arabia, despite its heavily-criticised human rights record, remains a staunch ally of Britain in the Gulf, where it is seen by the West as a bulwark against Iran's aggressive expansionism. It buys western weapons, employs thousands of expatriate workers, hosts the annual Hajj pilgrimage and helps to steady the oil price. All of which partly explain why international criticism of the crown prince is muted at most...money, greed, and more money. And more greed. Hatice Cengiz, the fiancée of the murdered Saudi journalist, said the invitation was a stain on the memory of Queen Elizabeth II. She called for him to be arrested when he lands in London, although she doubted this would happen.

Absolutely sickening.
We ban Russia from attending but because MBS is technically an 'ally' he's in.
The most heinous realpolitik.

I didn't think it would matter to me as much as it does.
On FB there was a photo taken from a helicopter showing the line of people waiting to pay respects to the queen can be seen from space.

So much for banning the Chinese...The Government has been accused of “ appeasing” China by allowing its leaders to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s lying in state. Sir Iain Duncan Smith claimed that the “ Establishment” had “ leant” on the House of Commons Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, to get him to admit a Chinese delegation to Westminster Hall. It follows several days of confusion about whether the delegation would be able to attend the lying in state. Earlier in the week, MPs sanctioned by China said they had been assured by Sir Lindsay that Chinese officials would not be given access. However, on Saturday a Parliamentary spokesman said that foreign representatives “ invited to attend the state funeral in Westminster Abbey are also invited to attend the lying in state”. Sir Iain told The Telegraph that he believed “ enormous pressure” had been put on Sir Lindsay, as well as the Lords Speaker, Lord McFall, to avoid a diplomatic incident. “ It’s clear and obvious that the Establishment leant on the Speakers to give way,” he said. “ The people that win at the end of the day, are the Chinese Communist party which is a brutal, dictatorial and anti-human rights organisation and all we’ve done is given them another victory.” He added: “It looks like appeasement is back, alive and well in the British Establishment.” A Foreign Office source denied the claim, saying: “ The Government did not put pressure on the Speaker.” The Telegraph understands that protocol about access to Westminster Hall during the lying in state has been complicated by the fact that jurisdiction over the space is shared between the Lord Great Chamberlain – who is appointed by the monarch – and the speakers of the Commons and the Lords. A spokesman for Sir Lindsay said that a decision taken last year to ban the Chinese ambassador from entering Parliament remained in place. MORE

Better news: Saudi Crown Prince will no longer attend Queen’s funeral after human rights outcry uk.yahoo.com/news/saudi-crown-prince-no-longer-150816827.htmlThe country will be represented instead by Prince Turki bin Mohammed al Saud, the source said. Prince Turki is a minister of state and has been a member of the cabinet since 2018. He is the grandson of late King Fahd and part of the new generation brought to power by Prince Mohammed. Not 100% better, but at least the public and the campaigners were listened to.
