Scary thing that looks not to dissimular to the first wife! Hair was bit shorter, top end wasn't sporting HMS Rodney's firepower though and legs were longer but take off 32 years and pretty close

That close, but take off 20 years from that one (at that point in time early 90's)

So, this inexpensive hobby of mine... I've just had to buy a new external hard drive as it's crushing the 2TB it's currently installed on. Gawd bless Amazon Prime " Big Deal Days". I picked up a USB 3.2 - 5 TB - Seagate FireCuda Gaming Hard Drive for £109.99. I've used Seagate FireCuda internal drives and like them, they're nippy, and seem to be reliable. I've also got one of their FireCuda SSD drives which I'm using exclusively as my Photoshop cache drive, so it's sort of a known quantity. My first job (as it's a " gaming" drive) is to work out how to diable the lights on the front of the bloody thing.

I think I'll try the technical approach first, like actually reading the manual. As one can change the colours I expect there to be an "off" option. Failing that I shall go with the analog solution of placing it on a table, or even the floor, facing away from me.

I remember when the Seagate Barracuda was the fastest hard disk in town. How many other 'cudas' have come in between?

I remember when the Seagate Barracuda was the fastest hard disk in town. How many other 'cudas' have come in between? They both still exist, alongside Ironwolf drives for RAID and SkyHawk surveillance drives. There are a couple more, but I forget what they are.

I only trust Samsung 980/990 Pro SSDs these days. Then again, I don't need a lot of storage (it's mostly in the cloud).

Heh, heh! The blue one looks shortened in length in the central shot. Still, you chose a good subject car to play with

Heh, heh! The blue one looks shortened in length in the central shot. Still, you chose a good subject car to play with I'm an old geezer. I worked out how to build models for use in AI software. I worked out how to use the software itself, which is a lot more complex than I first thought. I made this model from scratch. I rendered images with it in, and you recognised it. I'm taking that as a win.
