Amazing 1967 live track. Big band with such a groove and of course driven by the drumming legend that was Buddy Rich. His 12 year old daughter does the vocals at the beginning which is amazing in itself. Never fails to make me feel good and I need all I can get of that right now believe me

Now I know where Haily Reinhart got her phrasing (and attitude from)! What a great version and super start to the morning. Thanks. See the correction below - Thanks, Paul.

I love Haley Reinhart but what's the connection?

She sang a version of this song on one of Jeff Goldblum's albums, and the presentation and phrasing are eerily similar - still very good though.

I think that was Inara George, Pete, on his I Shouldnt Be Telling You This album. Haley Reinhart did sing "My Baby Just Cares For Me" and "Gee Baby (Aint I Good To You)" on another album of his though. The Capitol Studios Sessions.

You're right, Paul. I should have checked (I only had to get up and look at the CD!), but you can hear the similarity though I assume?

You're right, Stu, that track has amazing energy. I'll listen to it on the big rig when I get the chance.
