On Sky Arts (Freesat & Freeview) is showing the stage version tonight Sunday 24/07/22 21:00 - 23:10, in HD, obviously.
The album is not quite up to the standard of the original, but with the visuals it should be pretty good.
Just thought I'd mention it. I'm setting my recorder.

Would love to hear about it. War Of The Worlds is an absolute favorite of mine. I have an app on my phone with like 1200 channels of broadcast television. I'll see if it appears there.

It works very well as a post-apocalypse survival thriller, better than the BBC effort, but only tracks the original story very loosely.

Wow this one here that Paul linked to above does indeed look good.
I'll try that one next. The order in which I saw these things was first the 2005 film with Tom Cruise which I adored. Then I read the HG Wells book. And then lastly the version I linked to earlier. That last one seems to be a bit of a mix between the 2005 film and the HG Wells book.
Well I've got 2 War Of The Worlds shows to finish now.
That first big scene in the woods does remind me quite a bit of that notion regarding how technology when advanced enough would in fact look like magic/black magic.
