Texas are touring the UK after an extended break. I first saw them before the release of their first album Southside in 1989 and have been a fan ever since. Sharleen has one of the all-time great female voices and Ally is a quite superb but modest guitar player. I'm waiting for ticket sales to open at the Reading Hexagon.

I like gigs in the Queens Hall, warm friendly atmosphere. Last gig I saw was The Ukele Orchestra of Great Britain there and they were ace. Good venue!
