Making Daylight Savings permanent is equivalent to just setting the Time Zone. Seems a strange way to define it.
I'm all for it, too.

I find my body adjusts to getting up earlier with more daylight so I wake up earlier Don't need to change the time, I'm happy having more time in the day. Walking the dogs in warm sunshine was great today

I prefer daylight longer into the evenings. Don't care about the mornings.

Revelling in the daylight we get now after winter. Even more on the way which I will happily deal with. Finding my own times to do things with the clock as just a reference point. Doing everything earlier than most people through the day works well for me. I'm up around 5 much like you, usually past it by 9pm

The worst times for me on my daily commute, because I'm always driving into the sun, are the searing eye-bleeding laser surgery experience just after sunrise and just before sunset. It makes driving at those times miserable and gives me a whopping headache.

Bright, low sun even problematic for cycling
