Has anyone experience of connecting a Raspberry Pi 4 running PiCorePlayer to a Caimen SEG by USB.
I have it working and it sounds great, but I cannot get auto source switching to work, probably because the optically connected TV does not ever halt a stream. The Pi connected by USB may be the same. So I have manual switching only.
Have others experience of this combination, or have they found other auto switching DACs to work with TV and Pi?

Hello and welcome to TAS!
I still run a Caiman-II in my AV system and my LG TV does the same thing - it will always stop the auto-source switching. We are used to manually switching it between TV and Blue-ray.

Thanks for the welcome, Martin.
I too have have a LG TV. Stan tells me TVs hanging on is a common issue.
I await with interest any comments on the Caimen SEG connected by USB to a Pi4 running PiCorePlayer.
