The Weiliang linear PSUs work well enough, I have two: one Coherent upgraded, the other stock.

I'm sticking with the Charmast battery - I think the only reason to get a LPSU would be if you are running the system all day and don't want to be recharging ...
I've tried an expensive PSU with the Asus and it didn't sound any better than the Charmast.

I have tried a Chinese LPSU for my RPI4 and Supercharger Power Supplies for my Temple Monoblocks and always ended up back with batteries. I use a Charmast to power my RPI4, LiFePO4 batteries to power the monoblocks and an Ankaka battery (12V output) to power my Smart switch.

It's their relatively low output impedance, although batteries can be noisier.
Supercaps have the lowest output impedance of all which is why they make great (but costly) power supplies.

There's supercap PSUs and then there's Naim. If you want fully 2/3 of the cost to pay for the brand naim...

LOL the Naim PSU was second hand on eBay and they are actually 5k new - file under 'What made me laugh today' ...
It's one thing charging that price but even more crazy that punters will pay it.

It makes my two Coherent QP-1 dual supercap power supplies seem like incredible value for money, in view of their performance.

With the ATB I didn't find any benefit with a Supercap PSU.

I've had very good results from the PSUs from Teddy Pardo.
