Hi there! I am an impoverished, (soon to be) 56 year old audio nut, previously from Bootle, Merseyside but now residing 13 miles up the east lancs. music interests stretch from peak era Rush, Porcupine Tree etc all the way through to Crowded House, with Nanci Griffith, Kacey Musgraves and K D Lang popping in occasionally. Recent discovery has been the Paper Kites, a superb Aussie folk pop combo. All this is played on a CD and computer audio-based system, consisting of an Akustik Perfekt kit CD player with valve output stage and a Lenovo tiny pc running Audirvana via a Rega DAC-R into a diy passive pre, that feeds Temple Audio mono block power amps with their Supercharger power supplies. These drive a pair of Castle Harlech mk 1 speakers, supplemented by two BK Electronics Double Gem subs. Regards. Wal Riley
