I already have Spotify and Tidal I was for someone could comment on which is the best and value for money at the moment,I keep getting bombarded with letters and and email offers from Amazon music. How does it compare to the rest of the services,so if someone has the time to make a list on how all the services rate also would I be able to use them on a ATB,Allo Digi and the Hegel streamer amps, also I am looking for some more linear power supply’s to buy for other projects Thank you A

The first question is: what do YOU think of their relative sound quality? That's more important than what we think.
You know if you ask me I'm going to say Qobuz. I've tried Spotify and Tidal and a bit of YouTube and Qobuz gives the best sound quality, especially with hi-res files. In ranking order (best to worst): Qobuz, YouTube (variable), Spotify, Tidal.

In terms of Value for Money I'm very happy with my Spotify Family sub which gives the three of us Premium for £16.99 pm.
I would like them to get on with rolling out their Hi-Fi service though, that's been taking way too long to materialize.
Why not just try Amazon on their 3 month free trial?

I personally use Qobuz but my sons prefer LoFi Youtube for convenience. Amazon music HD came later on the market and may not have the same hardware support as Tidal / Spotify. From the Hegel 95 review in hifipig:

I am with Martin on this one, if you are after best SQ then its Qobuz and only £12.99/month now. I used to used TIDAL and in fact like its interface, however the SQ is pants and not what they actually say it is. Spotify in is only offering CD level SQ(recently) for its Premium service, its non-sub service is fine for casual listening or out and about if you put up with the ads, or use Youtube.
Why not give Qobuz a go for a 3 month free trial and see what you think.

Spotify Hi-Fi (which is cd quality) still doesn't have a release date. Premium is still 320kbps Ogg Vorbis.

Right I’m thinking of setting up another system with some of my bits and pieces lying about,I was thinking of using AE1with their own stands already owned,2 Rel 528 subwoofers already owned and going for a Hegel 390 as this would be a good starting point,I have lots of cd,dvd and Blu-ray oppos, pioneers players I could experiment with.maybe throw in a blackYamaha 7000 tuner plus a nakamichi cr7 and a revox 77. I have never heard anything by Hegel so any input would be very appreciated,I will keep the Naim active system in the main music room and the tv/projector/wife’s room she can use the naim unity atom when she wants peace from me,I will be expecting to upgrade the Hegel system at some point if needed so any info on the Hegel will be fantastic or using another streaming/Dac/amp altogether with the kit I already have,I am trying to cut down on boxes. Cheers A

I will probably get banished for this but I use the free YouTube streaming. You have to put up with adverts but I can live with that. I play it through a little JBL charge 5 Bluetooth speaker. What more could a music lover want ? I'm through chasing rainbows that just can't be found.

Quite apart from Music, there are channels that I subscribe to that I love. Great entertainment and educational, too.

My only realistic avenue for music at present is Spotify to Bluetooth headphones. It gets music to my ears, and sounds okay. Got rid of Tidal, with my system down.
I do miss the depth from my stereo though. Will consider a Qobuz trial in the new year.
