I have been outside, landscaping the back yard. Now on to painting my daughter's house.
I'm have been stuck on The Psychedelic Furs for a few weeks now. President Gas and Imitation of Christ play on a loop in my head. I need something else.
My brother talked about a Velvet Underground documentary released recently. So listened to them today.
What is your all time favourite album?

Love - 'Forever Changes'.
It was the subject of an early day motion in Parliament that stated that it was the best album of all time. The motion was passed, so not only is it true, but it's the law, in the UK, at least!

What is your all time favourite album? That's an extremely hard question to answer, because my favourite will vary with mood and over time. On and off over the years, it has been Moondance by Van Morrison. In classical, Durufle's Requiem with Shaw and the Atlanta SO.

And now have three albums to listen to.

My most played album is Dream Theater: Systematic Chaos Probably not a one most fans would go for but its the one I most listen too. I am not sure I have a favourite album it really depends on mood and muse

I can't think of anything beyond Prince 'Purple Rain'. The film and soundtrack struck a major chord with me as a teenager and the music never seems to age for me.

Far too many to mention. Struggle to narrow it down under 50, maybe even 100

Pretty much the same answer as Mike's. Too many albums, too many styles. How can one choose between Harry Chapin's " Greatest Stories Live," which is full of heavily lyrics based story songs, and Klaus Tennstedt's live Mahler 8? Chuck David Gilmour's " Live in Gdańsk" (my favourite Pink Floyd album that isn't Pink Floyd) into the mix and I'm even more confused. Then there's Al Stewart...

I played Dark Side of the Moon to death when I was younger. I still play it sometimes, but it has become a rare treat. However, I play something by Van Morrison in nearly every listening session.

Easy. Roy Orbison's A Black And White Night. Has to be the original album, CD SACD, VHS. It's been re-released a number of times, some of which with disappointing sound, like that of the DVD; bit of a travesty. And prefer the original to the 30th Anniversary Edition.

Curtis Mayfield- Roots is the one that springs to mind along with Cymande - Cymande.
If I had been asked this 20 years ago it would probably have been one of thd first three Led Zep albums. Testosterone was flying about like planes at Heathriw around then. And it had to be loud through a Naim system. Oh how times have changed.

Smooth, easy to listen to. Very pleasant.

It leads you onto less smooth, more satisfying Van Morrison such as Common One, a particular favourite of mine.
