A variety of power supplies to choose from for a variety of applications.
UK options and Chinese options seem to be the most widely used by members. I have a Coherent PSU for my SEG.
How do you know which is a good Chinese PSU?
I'm looking to get a Linear AC 230V 15v 2A with 5.5/2.1mm plug, for my Hiface Evo Supply. But not wanting to spend £500.

Look for Weiliang or BRZHiFi on eBay. They are pretty decent linear PSUs with a variety of badges. You can ask them to set the voltage you need.

If I ordered dual output, I could power both the Hiface Evo Two/Clock and the Project Stream Box S2 Ultra.

Looks fine, but make sure that both devices need the same voltage. They are not usually separate outputs.

Surely a psu is best when it is optimised tor it's load ?

Change of plans.
Will use my 9v Coherent Power Supply for the M2Tech Evo Clock. Have a Beresford Dorado that I will try with the M2Tech Evo Two USB/SPIDF converter. The Evo Two requires 250mA, while the Dorado delivers not more than 500mA. Both power supplies are supercapped.
Or have a Teradac DC30W 12v 1.5A I could use.
So won't use the M2Tech Power Supply at all. That seems like it could work.

Surely a psu is best when it is optimised tor it's load ? Probably the difference between building, or commissioning one, and buying an "off-the-peg" solution.
