I'll start with a few all-time favourites.
Beethoven Symphony No.5 - 3rd movement The sun rising through a forest of trees. Magical brass signals beams penetrating through.
Shostakovich Piano Concerto No.2 - 2nd movement Apart from the Grieg, the most wonderful moment in all piano concertos. Shostakovich could write beautiful music, too.
Mahler Symphony No.2 - 4th movement 'Urlicht' Was there ever a more spine chilling entrance to a choral symphony?
Glass Koyaanisqatsi - Prophecies Just organ and voices. Beautiful.
Mozart Requiem - 6th movement Lacrimosa Heart wrenching sadness in this most awesome of requiems.

The final movement of Mahler's 8th, and the adagietto from his 5th, obviously.

The final movement of Mahler's 8 thThe thrill of that long sustained organ pedal coming in towards the end is visceral.

One of the most moving moments for me is in RVW's Fantasia on a Theme when the orchestra plays the main theme in unison for the first time. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!

R Strauss Also Sprach Zarathustra - 1st movement Who isn't thrilled when a performance uses a proper organ capable of shaking the Earth in the opening sequence?
