Wow, what an awesome set list!
I went to the Time Machine tour when they played all of Moving Pictures. It was a strangely underwhelming concert and lacking in atmosphere but I'm glad I took the chance to see them.

I have had another listen and adjusted my vote accordingly, it was Rush in their finest period I think, so amended to 5/5

Not voting yet , I've listened twice and I'm hoping to get a bit more out of it . It's certainly a RUSH album can't be mistaken for anybody else , I don't normally pick out the musicians but I must say the drummer is excellent .

Agreed, Neal Peart was a one-off.
Just amazing the way he integrated electronic drums and sampling into his rig when playing live. This video talks about the tech he used -

Played this enough now and it's a 7/10 not an 8 but in the Poll 4/5 I'd listen again . Spirit of the Radio best track .

I haven't heard this for years. An 'ex' was a huge fan of Rush and had all of their albums and went to every concert she could. For me they have only ever been just Okay. Super musicianship admittedly and polished, but somehow their work always leaves me wanting more. I'm not a huge fan of the lead singer and he always seems a bit 'lost' in the mix and lacking in range. I think "Jacob's Ladder" is a good example of what I mean. A good track, but never becoming a great one and always feeling like it just needs pushing a bit further to get there. And often the bits (the fill) between the melodic themes seem to blur into each other to me and make the songs feel a bit padded out. The 'sound' of this album sort of reminds me of "Trick of the Tail' by Genesis, but without the dynamics and contrasts. Probably 3/5 for me and I'd listen to it if it playing, but would not seek it out.
