Apologies for missing loading my introduction. My name is Geoff and I live in Whangarei, New Zealand. I have been addicted to audio ever since I was a child and I am now 66 years old and feeling great! My system in brief includes: OPPO 205 Blu ray player, Anthem AVM 70 Processor, Anthem P2 Power Amp, REL 510 Subwoofer, Rotel 1555 Power Amp, 7.1 Channels. All speakers are Mirage Bi Polar with the mains being the legendery M3si's. Looking forward to chatting with interested people - can never get enough knowledge when it comes to audio etc. Kind Regards, Geoff

Nice one Geoff and welcome.
I have this feeling that I might have been to Whangarei nearly 30 years ago when I was working on a TV show that was filming on the North Island, it sounds very familiar! Anyway, would be a dream to revisit NZ at some point.

Hi Chris.
I gotta tell you that I did not get an opportunity to audition the M3si's at all when I bought them new. I went solely off my own research, then placed the order. I will never forget the feeling I experienced when I heard them for the first time - unforgettable. I have heard many other full range and expensive speakers since then, and I can honestly say that that Bipolar sound does it for me over all the others. Old they are, but they are legendary in my opinion. I will never sell them. I have mine about 6 feet in from the front wall and 3 feet from the sidewalls with about 7 feet between them. The depth and clarity etc is unbelievable. Some of my mates just can't understand how such an old speaker can do what they do. Engineer Ian Paisley from Mirage was clearly a master above all others at the time. Cheers, Geoff
