A B&O collector might like this. I would have it as a second systems but SWMBO said no, I always liked my sister-in-laws in Denmark, they have a great sound. I came across this complete Beogram 9000 system it is in good condition and is a working, the TT works but needs a new cartridge (I think about £200). The seller sent me videos of it working CD and Cassette, it sound pretty OK, it was his wife's cousin who owned it from new but has passed away. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403066471019

It might well go for a low price, as the seller has no feedback.

Worth a punt for anyone living out that way. Hang onto it for a few years and make a pile of money
Go there to collect and if wrong in anyway don't pay just walk away

I've always loved the aesthetics of their kit. It's so "Space 1999".

I seem to be the only person on the planet who hates the look of B&O stuff.

I'm there with you, Chris. Too skinny and all a bit contrived I feel.

Yes, and it's too obviously 'designed' for me.

Back in the day B&O seemed to be for middle-class punters who wanted to show off to their friends. Most unsavoury.

Some of their designs look good. However, I've never heard B&O sound more than average.
They do have some very high end speakers but I've never heard them.
