On a number of occasions I have mulled upon having an HiFi dedicated mains solution into my music room, which is currently on yer bog standard socketed ring main fed from the CU housed in a cupboard across the adjacent hall.
Find attached a couple of happy snaps of the mains ingress point and CU unit. The CU has facility for a 20 Amp Radial ? And an 32 Amp Radial ? Both of which are redundant and the associated cables still running upstairs tho made safe.
The distance between the CU and Music room is relativly short however crosses the hall with a sealed parquet floor into the ring main also sporting a sealed parquet floor.
What would be my best option from a fidelity point of view ( presumably dedicated radial
) here folks ? Any advice much appreciated.
