I do believe it allows for synchronicity.

Well, I don't think this Via**a is going to get me very excited.
I think I got my free month trial about 6 months too soon.
Very cumbersome on my phone, very limited catalogue. Not at all obvious how to navigate the site. It's an exercise in frustration at the moment.

Part of the problem is that Spotify is so superb to use. I kind of came to take it for granted. Then clunky Via**a comes along and reminds me how good Spotify is.

OK, fair enough, it's a French streaming service and Vaughan Williams is quintessentially English. But if I'm doing it right there is one (1) RVW album available on Via**a as of even date.

The catch is you have to stomach the conducting .... R@@tler. It's funny, and I don't disagree with you, but Rattle's Mahler 2 which I saw him conduct very many years ago, with the CBSO, remains the most epic and memorable, and not a little emotional, concert I've ever been to. It even exceeded Tennstedt's. What happened to him afterwards remains a mystery.

The Rattler did a superb early live recording of Elgar's violin concerto with Ida Haendel and the CBSO, available on the fairly obscure BBC Testament label and not available streamed. Superb performances all round. As you say, Martin, what's happened to him since then is baffling. www.amazon.co.uk/Sibelius-Elgar-Violin-Concertos-Jean/dp/B002E9Y5NS
