Sad to read of the demise of PHD but quite understandable.

Paul lives on Uist, one of the Hebrides, and I can only imagine what it must have been like receiving parts and shipping out completed power supplies during the pandemic.

Paul is a real gentleman and I wish him better luck for the future.

It’s good to see that Paul will continue custom builds. I’ve had a number of interesting conversations with Paul. It turns out he grew up in the village where I’ve lived for 60+ years and had a paper round on our road. Small world!

IIRC Paul set up PHD as a way to increase the volume of business he could do. In effect he’s now back to the same business he was operating around 10 years ago.

I was surprised to see how successful he had been in the US.

Paul's product is good but it was painful dealing with him; I waited nearly a year for my PSU, which I paid for upfront. Anxiety inducing.

Great power supply which lifted the SQ of my system considerably. I wish him the best for the future.
