A right, proper pair of likely lads, them two geezers. I had a couple of mates, who lived in Bermondsey when I was with BT in the early seventies, and my first introduction to the area was one of them, Micky, pointing to the pavement we were walking on and saying to me, "... and that's the blood trail from last night's stabbing outside the pub we're going to". I wasn't a fan then, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't " appreciate," Bermondsey today either. Too many Millwall supporters. |
