Well, I think it's wonderful. Opinions will undoubtedly follow the usual Gaussian distribution from like to dislike. www.theguardian.com/culture/2021/may/20/william-shatner-interview-love-loss-and-leonard-nimoyHe comes across as a real character. Great quote that made me smile at its self contradiction..... ".... It feels rude to ask a 90-year-old if he worries about death, so I ask instead what he wishes he had known at 20 that he knows at 90. “Here’s an interesting answer!” he says perkily. “I’m glad I didn’t know because what you know at 90 is: take it easy, nothing matters in the end, what goes up must come down. If I’d known that at 20, I wouldn’t have done anything!”

Yes, he is a character and I've enjoyed his interviews over the years. He has said some quite profound things about life and relationships.

I enjoyed that, thanks Jerry. He has a real zest for life and an honesty about him that is very endearing. I'd love to still be diving with sharks in the Bahamas at 90!

Having read this, and previous interviews, I've come to the conclusion that about 5% - 10% of what Shatner says is complete and utter horseshit, but it's quite deliberate horseshit, and the other 90% - 95% of what he says is daring you to work out which parts are horseshit.

I thought this was really entertaining. I liked his response at being 90. Didn't realize he was that old:
