Last night I was watching a fabulous one act version of the ballet 'Raymonda' streamed from the Royal Opera House.
The score is first class romantic Russian fare by Alexander Glazunov.
It reminded me how long it is since I listened to any of his works and I really must investigate his work further.
In the meantime here is a nice recording of excerpts from the ballet.

I've got quite a bit of Glazunov in my collection, including a rather interesting saxophone concerto coupled with his saxophone quartet. Naxos covers a huge amount of his output, including 17 discs of his orchestral works and lots of ballet music.

I was looking at his list of compositions on Wiki - a pretty substantial output including 9 symphonies. I don't actually remember seeing anything by him performed live but maybe I've forgotten - he does seem to fly a bit under the radar here.

You've probably heard loads, Jules, his music is pleasant enough to listen to but easy to forget.

LOL very possibly Jerry!
He does know his way around a decent ballet score though.

Possibly. Must admit I usually give ballet scores a wide berth.
I'll have a listen to the one you linked to.

The best ballet score I know is the Prokofiev R&J. I don't need visuals to enjoy that.

The R+J music is so good of course I can enjoy it alone but it means more to me with the ballet for which it was intended. Same for any other great ballet scores.
