Indeed, Chris, but I'm not a Chrome user. Internet Explorer, correctly, takes its settings from the global settings in the OS.

In Windows 7 Control Panel | Region and Language. About the last one you come to. I was already UK
Just re read the Chrome settings English Google Chrome cannot be displayed in this language This language cannot be used for spell checking
I thought I selected real English. I didn't

In Chrome you need to Add Find English (United Kingdom) click on that !
